Celebrant

I first became a celebrant in 2017 after enjoying planning my own ceremony for our forest wedding in Opoutere, New Zealand so much that I wanted to help others create theirs and share the inspiration and creativity.

Being a yoga teacher I already had the passion for holding ceremonial sacred space with love and the heart being at the very core of all my teachings.

I have held over 20 ceremonies between New Zealand and Devon, UK. It has taken me to some amazing places, from the beach, to the forest, and to historic city buildings all whilst getting to know many wonderful couples from all walks of life.

One of the best things about having a celebrant means you can have your ceremony anywhere, whether that’s on your favourite beach, in the ocean, on a boat, or on top of a mountain, I’ll be there!

I believe the ceremony is the beating heart of the wedding and builds a foundation for the rest of the day where everyone is open and immersed in love and gratitude.

I believe your guests are an essential piece of the puzzle, they form a big part of your union so I like to include your loved ones in the ceremony so they feel seen and acknowledged for the love and support they provide and will continue to do throughout your marriage.

The ceremony sparks love in everyone and I believe it’s important for the guests to reflect on the love and connection they experience in their own lives too.

When I meet my couples I encourage meeting in their natural environment, where they feel most at home, whether that’s sipping on a hot drink in a café, a glass of wine at home or being barefoot on the beach.

Your ceremony is bespoke and completely individual and unique to you, no two ceremonies are ever the same and we work together until we have something you can’t wait to share, unless you’d like a surprise!

I am there every step of the way to help you write your vows with plenty of ideas and inspiration and an abundance of readings and rituals if you feel a call for something a little different.

I’m here to ensure your experience is relaxed, fun and heart-warming as we take time to get to know each other, meaning on the day you feel completely at ease and comfortable. That way you can be truly present and take it all in with confidence, ease and most of all have fun!

Ceremonies are life’s biggest celebrations that become history for you and all the generations to come, your wedding deserves to be built from intention, creativity and individuality. Your ceremony will not be governed by anything other than your wishes as there are no rules!

I am an open-minded free-spirited celebrant based in Woolacombe, North Devon but willing to travel so I can be there to weave magic into your special day with a ceremony that will be remembered and cherished forever.

Testimonials

  • “Coral was amazing! She puts a lot of effort into getting to know a couple and their story first so that she can personalise the ceremony to them. Everyone had something good to say about Coral at the wedding and how wonderful she made the ceremony with her natural grace. She certainly put us at ease and made it entertaining for us at the same time - just how we wanted it. Thank you so much!"

  • “We had such an amazing day and honestly so much of that was down to you! Our ceremony was so beautiful and personal and we had so so many compliments on it. Many people commented on how personal it was, how unusual that was but how lovely it was to hear our story. I’m also not one for opening up, or feeling comfortable doing so so thank you for helping me to do that on my wedding day. I have to admit that initially the ceremony was not the part of the wedding I was most focused on but actually it ended up being my favourite part and that was all down to you and your ceremony and delivery. Coral you are so, so lovely and we really enjoyed you being part of our big day!”

  • “Coral is the most amazing human, she radiates love and kindness. One of the easiest people to talk to, to be open with and to run ideas past. She was nothing but supportive during the build up to our wedding and throughout the day. She made the ceremony a completely unique one which suited us as a couple so much, it was everything we had talked through with her and more. I still get people three weeks later telling me what a fantastic job they thought Coral did it was perfect and she is too. Can’t thank her enough.”
